At last the piano competitions are over. May 5 and 6 were Florida Federation of Music Clubs with 1500 auditions in 2 days. I put in 2 full days of judging string auditions and yesterday and the day before were the Florida State Music Teachers Association auditions. Mary Lou had 4 competitors. Even though I didn't have to judge I had to keep her company and drive to Gainesville for 2 days. At last the marathon is over for the year. Nothing left but a thicket of doctors' appointments and house repair
