Thanks for your hike report. Within the next month I intend to pop down to Tucson for a day and check out the Tanque Verde trails; with luck, there'll still be enough flowing water to maintain the falls, and enough warm sun to make free hiking comfortable. (In truth, if I'm burning enough energy on a hike, it doesn't even have to be all that warm :)
