Well the south coast of British Columbia just got hit with a major wind storm, haven't seen wind like this in a dozen years. Power outages to hundreds of thousands people, my hydro lines were ripped right out of the house and power poles snapped off, I expect I will be without power for at least a week to 10 days. We are likely some of the lucky few, we have a back up generator that will keep our freezers cold and the coffee pot on (we have a wood stove to keep some heat in the house)
