Feb 11, 2010It's been some time since we had a new post so I thought I'd open a discussion about Lent. It's only a few days away. For those of you who have given thought over how you'll be observing Lent would you care to volunteer your plans?

The idea is for you to commit to simple meals and prayer. Any money you save can be sent to CRS for hunger and poverty relief programs. You can pick up a "kit" that has the "rice bowl," calendar with prayers and food suggestions at many parishes. You can also find information at their website:
