May 29, 2017Only if you're brave though.
I'll wait till at least mid September before I consider heading to Werrong Beach.ReagierenAntworten - SU
Jun 6, 2017Haven't been there before. What's it like? I was at Little Jibbon yesterday, the sun came out for a few hrs and I saw 4 Mermaids slowly go past. Very peaceful.

Jul 1, 2017
I haven't been to Werrong in a while. At this time of year, it loses the sun pretty early.
I usually like to wait until daylight savings starts. I used to go there regularly during winter. I find it funny to pass people on their way down to beach when the sun has already set there. It of course is quiet sunny up at the lookout.ReagierenAntworten - DA

Apr 13, 2018I was there yesterday, not many people there for such a nice day. Maybe the thought of walking back up in the heat put some people off. The water was great too.

Aug 30, 2021Can't wait to head to Werrong when things open up again. Miss the walk down & back (as it's a G8 exercise) and need the sun on my whole body.

Aug 30, 2021Getting down there is definitely G8 exercise and puts us off. There must be easier places to go in the park. Suggestions please.

Apr 25, 2023Hey all - heard the track wasn't in great shape. Thinking of venturing down next week being early May ~ anyone have any idea if passable. Haven't been down to Werrong on at least 15 years looking forward to a day out and soaking up some sunshine. Jaye ^^

Apr 25, 2023There is a track, slightly overgrown. There is also a sign saying NO ENTRY
The reason being there was a collapse of the hill, where the steep stairs used to be...now it s a straight drop off..but that s not the issue.
The issue is there is a large part of the remaining hill that has dropped...about 150m long...it dropped between 15cm and 80cm...which indicate a partial collapse which is a precurser of a landslide.
You can still see water pouring from where the stairs were.
There are two ropes people have placed to go up & down the already collapse hill...while werrong is a nice place, the risk is not worth it... I will personnally not go there again as it is not safe...a good rain event could possibly trigger the collapse of the affected hillside...ReagierenAntworten - JA
