I went to new dermatologist yesterday. An actual doctor -- rather than a physician's assistant -- and male.
As the nurse was leaving, she got out a gown and told me to put it on. I said, I'm not going to wear that. She said, OK, and put it back.
When the doctor walked in I was sitting on the exam table fully nude. He brought in a female assistant with him. Normally, doctors seem to be very careful about how wide they open the door, generally, just wide enough so they can get through it. Although this doctor didn't just throw it open, it was much wider than necessary. Of course, I don't care. I just thought that was interesting.
I'm sitting facing the door. He cannot miss the fact that I'm nude. Not a word from him or his female assistant regarding my nudity. Just another exam.
That's the way it should be.

Oct 7, 2023I have many friends that are physicians. They say that the Medical Ethics Committee recommend these type of silly aprons to avoid people from suing them for sexual assault... Anything that may be considered not indispensable for the examination may be taken to court as abuse. While examining you skin for cancer, they won't do it in your private parts unless you request. I have some moles so I always ask.

Oct 13, 2023The first dermatologist I went to let me know that she had "comfort level issues" with the human body. So, why the fuck are you a dermatologist. Wrote her a long letter (copy to her employer) about how absurd that was. Never went back to her.
I had a father son team stay here who were long distance biking. I list that I am a nudist in my profile and leave it up to the guests to
say if they would prefer to have me clothed. I do abide by their wishes. This duo and had not really addressed it one way or the other
and I overall kept my clothes on during their visit. But did streak thru the common areas a couple of times.
When they were packing up to leave, the father thanked me for not going nude around his college age son much. I pointed out
that his son was in a pre-med program and if he had an issue with nudity he had better get over it. The father said " you are correct"تفاعلرد - TX
Apr 7, 2026Ever since I had my first melanoma my exams have been "FULL BODY" examinations. My habit is I decline the gown -- what a waste -- and remove my shoes and socks to await the Dr. As soon as he arrives I remove my shirt and shorts while we say "hi" and all that.
When he's looked everywhere else and he's ready, I pull down the underwear for his exam of my buttocks and then my front side. Since he's always accompanied by a female assistant, I don't go commando to the appoints, which would be my normal attire.

Not a new dermatologist, but a new assistant on one of my recent visits.
Assistant: Why are you here?
Me: Semiannual full body exam.
Assistant: Will you be taking any clothing off? (I was tempted to ask how I could have a full body exam with clothing on, but I didn't.
Me; Yes, all of it.
Assistant: Then take off everything but your underwear. The doctor will be with you shortly.
