Sep 6, 2019
I live in the US, where public nudity is generally illegal and I drive a convertible, so I leave my shorts on.However, i always drive shirtless in warm weather.I do get some strange looks and even an occasional rude comment shouted in my direction, but I don't care! I do believe that the world is becoming less and less tolerant. There seems to be an army of permanently annoyed people looking for something to be annoyed or upset about. Then there are their reserved troops who are constantly offended looking for something to offended at or being offended on behalf of others - think of the children.
Yes, think of the children. Don't you want them to grow up to be tolerant and live in a free society?ReactReply - NASep 8, 2019
I personally havent done this, but I have an interesting story to share. in August of this year (2019) I was attending a late-night Meetup group around 72nd street and Broadway (in NYC). I bought a couple of items in a drugstore, then left for the subway. I saw a man bump into an older couple on the street, as he was moving very quickly down the street. The couple was clearly annoyed by this. I quickly realized that the man in question was stark naked. Not even any footwear - he was totally starkers! The couple seemed stunned, as they watched this naked man move down the street. He seemed agitated, and maybe mentally ill or high on something. I saw a woman calling 911 on her mobile phone, and I have to assume she told the cops "That guys' nuts - grab 'im!" lol
I followed the news media the next day, to see if there were any reports of a naked man being arrested that night. I saw nothing. There is an old saying - "There are 8 million stories in the naked city..." and this is mine.

Oct 1, 2019I wear a thong on the beaches in Galveston, TX quite often. People come up and start normal conversations and had some folks parked next to me invite me to join them as I was just sitting alone.
In the morning on weekdays I shed the thong and cover up when people get close.ReactReply - BAOct 12, 2019
I have walked around my neighborhood a few times completely nude. Its a great feeling! Ive only been caught once by a female neighbor.

Oct 31, 2019I know what you mean. Many years back I was in P-Town MA and decided to go to the beach at like 2AM. At the trail to the beach, off the road, I stopped and stripped off my shorts and shirt and took just my room key with me. I left my clothes on the fence out in the open. I'd done this before a few times in the hope that someone would take them. When I got back from my hike I'd finally gotten my wish. As they say - be careful what you wish for. I now faced the prospect of walking back to my Inn stark naked. I wasn't too worred as it was Provincetown and now about 3AM. The first part of the trip was easy enough as it's a deserted beach road. I got more nervous when I hit the main road. There was no one out that I could see. Traffic was light enough that I could duck behind a car or bush before the car saw me. I felt very naked but I was VERY excited :) I was almost back to the Inn. I turned the corner and saw a man coming my way - only a few feet ahead. There was no time to hide so I just walked right by. He said "Hey" with a big smile. I said "Hey" and we kept walking. I got to the Inn and had to walk through the very small lobby. Two guys were up talking. I said hello as I walked by. They whistled and laughed. I found out later that my friend had followed me to the beach and took my clothes. It was a really scary but exciting experience. And the casual reactions were pretty funny!

Oct 31, 2019Last night was 'mischief night'. Cool drizzly misty night, took my dog for his usual late night walk. My mischief was being bottomless on the darker roadways around my neighborhood! Felt wonderful with the cool tingly sensations of the misty drops in the air!

Mar 6, 2020
Such a great experience of feeling refreshed to walk around public streets, especially when the weather is nice its glorious. Usually about 5am I go for a nude stroll from my front door and walk for about 1.5 miles and then either lay on the grass or just wander about. Great feeling and no sense of a prude bumping into you, because at the end of the day we all share the same world..we was nude before clothing was invented from the chinese. We are very respectful people, and it amazes me how they can produce kids or keep clean, because they have to get nude .I guess they would feel disgusted with themselves and a sense of bad insecurity...Lets all of us run nude in the street in our armys, and push the boundaries open more, because thats the way forward....AC
love your attitude LeahReactReply - JA
Apr 17, 2020Done this loads of times - mainly in the summer but other times of the year too
I've yet to leave the house naked and walk as I normally leave clothed and undress along the way. Problem is security cameras these days. I have a couple as well but I now have to plan my route during the day to make sure I don't trip any.
It's great to be able to look out the window and say 'I was naked there, and there, and there !!'

May 9, 2020It was a lovely moonlight night and not too cold last night. At around 3am I decided to celebrate VE+75 day in my own way. I walked naked around a fav village walk during this lock down period. It was an invigorating half hour's ( maybe 2 mile) hike.

May 13, 2020Can't really walk my neighborhood. But I do have a riverbed levee nearby that I do walk most days/nights. Days maybe a half mile. Nights just short of 3 miles. Some of the trail is closer than 75 feet from the back doors. Most people do not look out the back of the house. And yes, I have met a few while out with no problems. The moon was bright a few night ago. Could have been easy to see.

This summer on warm nights around 1-2 am I have done this 3 times (so far). I live in a somewhat rural New England town in a neighborhood of pretty nice homes that is quiet at night. Seems like covid has made even the random late night cars more scarce. There is a loop a little over a mile from my house and around the neighborhood. I wear shoes but nothing else. I bring my phone, I think it makes feel some security. The first time I did the entire loop it took me a while to go further and further. I would go 100 yards and come back. Then 200. Then at some point I just kept going. There are no streetlights but many of the neighbors have post lights, porch lights, and garage lights on so there are some pretty lit up sections. You can hear the central air conditioners cycling and it sends a momentary rush of adrenalin thinking it's a car coming or some animal lurking. But the most nerve wracking is coming up to the intersections where there is little line of sight. I ask myself if would try to hide or just keep walking. I haven't had to make that choice yet and I am both afraid of the reality and totally thrilled by the idea (it's complicated).
I am a pretty big guy, mostly bald, middle aged, and I am afraid, if seen, that I would be perceived as pervy. That is probably my biggest fear. But one thing I love about warm nights is the sweat on my body from the warmth and my adrenaline. The other thing I love, and this will seem strange, is that I have a pretty small penis and I love how it turtles up inside because it creates this strange yet nice sensation. It looks like I just have my scrotum and no penis at all - that would be both embarrassing and I guess a bit thrilling (not sure if I can post a pic of that).
What I am looking forward to is a warm rainy night, that would be a thrill for the senses.

I just did this tonight, and it was so amazing I googled around to see if other folks had done it too. And that's how I found this website!
My buddy who lives a block behind my house is working on a project, and asked if I would bring him a network cable. I complained that he was making me put on shorts & shoes to walk over there, and he laughed and said to just come over "as you are". So I did! Down my back yard, into and up the alley. Got to the end of the alley, looked around and headed down street for a block and a half. It was exhilarating! Of course he was surprised as hell when I showed up on his porch wearing nothing but a coiley thing on my wrist with the house key on it. Hung out for a little while, and then I got to walk home again! Tried to convince buddy to do it with me, but he chickened out in the front yard. But it was fan-fucking-tastic.

About 1:30, maybe 2:00am? The alley's overgrown and dark, and nobody uses it. But the street made me a little nervous!

Jul 29, 2021Last week mid-week was very quiet, dark hot & muggy. Spur of the moment went for a 6 block nude walk around my neighborhood just after mid-night. Warm night, no breeze, some humidity, dark umber moon from the western wildfires. Hazy, a few cars and a motorcycle I had to hide from behind some bushes and tall grass. A neighbor came home, when they went in I boldly walked under the streetlight past their house! What a thrill. About a 30 minute walk, completely naked with just flip-flops on!

I have done this on several occasions now and love it more every time! The first time I took easy on athletic shorts in my hand in case I'd "need" them. I did the second time as well though I felt more comfortable that time and never used them either time. So the third time I said what the heck and left them in my house. And after a few more times it feels so natural and normal I forget I'm not wearing clothes and honestly don't care if I'm seen! (save for potential legal issues)it's addicting!I fully expected to feel more nervous from the lack of a safety net but to my surprise it was the exact opposite! Because when I had the shorts I was on ultra high alert looking and listening for a need to use them but without anything with me there was nothing I could do about a chance encounter but be friendly and embrace it thinking "in the off chance I'm seen if I simply act totally normal the other person probably will too". This allows me to relax and while I still listen to avoid being seen if possible I am not nearly as high alert since there is nothing I can do anyway if an unavoidable situation occurrs. If your going to try this I highly recommend not taking clothes with you as the experience will be 100x better! And if spotted act natural because truthfully you're not doing anything wrong (unless your being a pervert) so if your friendly and natural if spotted, the person who spotted you is very unlikely to be offended enough to call the cops and will either approve or simply be amused and go on there way.

Dec 21, 2021Hello. Just joined. This past summer, I began going on late night nude hikes, when warm enough here near LA. I go on regular hiking/biking trails, but at 11:00pm or later, no one is ever there. Its especially awesome with a full moon. I dont go nude right from the parking lot, but wait until the trail cant be seen. Maybe thats not as daring as some Ive read. When I do get to that spot on the trail, I leave all my clothes there, and dont bring anything to cover up.

Dec 23, 2021Way too many residential security cameras in my area, but there's a few quiet places further afield. Nice for a late-night walk on a warm night, and quite addictive!

Mar 17, 2022Still wary of going 100%, but Donald Ducked for quite a way in a suburban area. Late at night, so saw no one except a couple of vehicles on cross reads away from where I was

This is my second post on this thread. I had a new experience last night and had to post the update. It's spring and last night was the first night this season warm enough to take a nude walk and I did so around 2am. Now as I said in my other post I always go 100% nude and take nothing with me. Now the new experience is that I actually got spotted... Twice! Both times I simply nodded said evenin' and casually jogged past one was only about 10 feet away. And I must say the most shocking part of the experience was how NOT SHOCKING It was! I'm only a home naturist cuz there are no free beaches or resorts around me so this was the first time I've been nude infront of a stranger and what I felt was... Nothing! It just felt natural and my heart didn't even race. If getting seen is holding you back from trying this, don't let it... You'd be amazed just how uneventful being seen nude really is. It's the idea that's scary, not the event. If it happens you'll be like "da heck was I scared of this? It literally feels no different from being seen clothed". At least at 2 am it doesn't.

Yes it is a great feeling walking nude around the neighborhood. I would do it and feel so free and calm. Every time I did it I never had any clothes. The more times I did it the farther I would explore. I made it to the end of one block and then started down the other way. It was great cause I had street lights to light my way but also had trees to shade parts of sidewalk. The only time I worried is when I was far enough away and a car was coming. I would hide behind the tree hoping they weren't going to see me as I moved with the light.
