I have no idea, mine aren't all that sensitive or anything. All I do know is that we would look really weird without them.

hmmm you raise a fair point in the chromisonal make up determining our gender in the latter part of fetal maturation. kinda like the testies and the ovaries relationship.

The Reason Men have nipples is because in early stages of fetal development the fetous is female so nipples are form as if it was female, later on the X chromosome is added which then makes it male, and the gentials are then formed, so the nipples were already there.
maybe the clitoris needs her own thread. The clitorisis similar to an iceberg in only the tip is visable. In size, nerve endings and purpose it compares to the penis. The large percentage that is internal is shown in drawings as being sort of wishboned shaped. Much is now being studied on the internal portion and it relationship to female orgasm/enjoyment.
wow. now that I did not know either. wishbone eh? hmmmm thats interesting I'm going to have to research that.  ok so I'm a virgin, never masterbated or any of that crap so forgive me if these next questions seems a little silly.  1- so apparantly females can orgasm too. which I guess is understanding, but why ejaculate? 2- and what the crap is it that they are ejaculating? I mean with men obviously it's the semen and serves a purpous in being ejaculated but its rather unsensical that woman would. I mean Men don't lactate do they? 3- where is the ejaculate substance coming from? what gland is producing this substance and how is it released?

There are plenty of studies concerning female ejaculation, and where the fluid comes from. I can say that my fiance' has the ability and no it is not urine, as many believe.
As far as the "wishbone" thing goes. I wonder if the G spot is the wishbone side of the clitoris. The location and sensitivi

I have a related question: Why in American society do we have such a double standard regarding the public display of nipples? Women can be fined or even jailed for letting their nipples be seen in public, whereas men can walk around freely in many places with their nipples exposed (even if they have breasts larger than many women), and nobody notices. Men are frequently seen bare-chested on television and in magazines, but women's nipples are usually blurred out or hidden in the popular media. I even remember seeing a show about a person having female-to-male sexual reassignment surgery, and this person's nipples were blurred out before the operation, but shown clearly after the operation, even though it was the same person. What is so offensive and shocking about a female nipple? This attitude seems to me to be as discriminatory and oppressive in its own way as the policy of forcing women to wear a burqa in some countries.

You must start masturbating.  OMG, it feels so good when you experience a great climax.  It isn't necessary to break your hymen.  Simply caress your clitoris alot.  For the first time, you must do it when you are alone, because you will want to moan and scream out load.  Send us updates on how it goes for you.

I have no idea what the answer is to your question.  I am just extremely happy that women have nipples.  Especially, when they are perky nipples.  Grins!

My guess is evolution. As the species evolved the man and woman grew to be different but similar???

Speaking of reproduction, isn't it interesting that all living species managed to discover how to reproduce...

What has that to do with the topic?

Because, when the fetus forms, the genitalia are the last to happen, so the nipples are present in every fetus until the moment its sex is determined.

Remember way back when you started puberty?  Your nipples were always hard and even the rubbing of a T-shirt made them hurt?  I hope you do, cause mine sure did, and I'd hate to find out that I'm the only one!

Someone asked what that has to do with the topic. Well I think it's a very good reason to have them.

If you asked "how is it that men have nipples?" that's different. Then you can refer to all the bio-science. (serious stuff)

The genetic code for nipples is not contained on the sex chromosomes, XY. So, being male or female does not affect whether you have them or not.
Being male or female will determine what hormones you produce after puberty, which is why girls grow breasts and boys don't. Mess with hormones and you can get men to grow breasts. Not recommending it, just saying it biologically happens.
It gives men another body part to pierce.
So true. I pierced both mine twice (one horizontal and one vertical in each). And they are sensitive places to get the hormones going.

It's very simple, we are mammals so they are part of the package, the same way we all have belly buttons. As we developed in the womb specialization takes place and women developed an inny and men an outie, the vagina grows together to make a penis with the clit enclosed. All humans start life as females so of course, we have nipples. I know a gross simplification of biology.

Men and women are the same species. We are human beings. We are only different in our sexes. Men have a penis and women a vagina. Apart from that we have the same body parts even if they have no function. I would be amazed if men would have no nipples.
