Does any one know why when a member leaves all of that person's posts are deleted, along with any entire threads that they started?
Most if not all of the other forums, boards, etc, that I use keep posts from former members.

Oct 23, 2019Why not ask Team True 1 or 2 ? It does appear unfair that entire discussion threads vanish. Others have contributed to the thread after the departed member started it. And many threads get a life independent of the initial entry.

Oct 24, 2019what you say is true but it used to not be the case. but in an " upgrade' a couple of years ago that ' feature ' was added. A friend of mine thought it might have been Truenudists way of dealing with some internet rule they were trying to comply with. If it is, it is an overall cautious , i.e. too many lawyers in this world, way to deal with it. In similar forums when a member leaves their posts remain but their name on the post becomes something generic and so the post stays intact. I suggested that solution but it fell on deaf ears here.
