We'll be there! Originally we were going to participate at Gunnison, but due to work schedules and travel time we'll be participating at Solair. Really looking forward to it.
Steve, are there any resorts or clubs in your area where you could participate?
Phil, Strip down and jump in the koi pond! That way you can join in spirit if not in count. But, please, take a pic of that! LOL...and don't deny us our request, my derriere is still thawing out from your requested photo ;)

Sorry Jen, unfortunatly, if I got in the Koi pond now, it would probably cause a total colapse and my precious fish would be high and dry with no where to go. Plus my camera is not water proof and in need of some batteries anyway. But it's a good idea, and who knows, might manage it one day, be good to have a pic of me waste deep, holding my prize fish! p.s. Sorry about your derriere ;)

Jul 9, 2009I have learned that AANR will have 2 sets of numbers. The official Guinness Record numbers and a second set for AANR which is unofficial and doesn't count for Guinness. Let AANR know that you went skinny dipping on Saturday. The time is noon Pacific Time. Our resort, The Terra Cotta Inn located in sunny Palm Springs, California is participating. We still have a few rooms left for this fun event. Give us a call at 800-786-6938. Jul 9, 2009I will be participating at Whispering Pines Nudist Resort in Ocean Isle Beach in NC. We have received some very positive media coverage here in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. A nice article in the local paper plus a spot last night on the local news. In my opinion this ism the best public relations we have received in my over forty years as a nudist.

Jul 9, 2009I will be skinni dipping at the time as will many of my friends from here. Unfortunately I found out about it too late and when I contacted AANR they said it was past the deadline to get representative to the place I go. They have list of participaiting locations and groups so I contacted a group in Austin that was listed and they knew nothing about it. It appears to me to be a promotion for their affialated clubs and travel agencies. So we will be participating but not important enough to be counted. I had been considering joining AANR but their response to me and seeing how this is being done has made me change my mind.

Jul 11, 2009There were 104 participants at Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis. There were approximately that many more who did not participat there because they were not comfortable signing the required release. I spoke to some people who were members of a non landed group and the group was pushing them to all go to a resort nearby. Their comments reaffirmed what I had posted in another thread, most young people prefer a beach to a resort, partialy due to the cost. As an added benifit, I mentioned being a member here and what it was like and they say they will be joining.

Jul 12, 2009Whispering Pines Resort in NC had well over 200 participants in a very well run event. Four TV crews were on hand ,reporting. Of course everyone had the option of not having there face on camera but I don't think a single person turned away.

Jul 12, 2009Green Valley had 212 in the pool, none in the hot tub, and a few who shoed up late.
This in spite of about 2 inches of rain just a very few hours before.
( heard the 212 number a few times, but I have no "official" knowledge )
Local media had been invited, but none showed.ReactReply - LO
Jul 13, 2009I attended at Gulf Coast Resort in Florida where I live. We are a small resort but we still managed to have an official count of 106 participants. There were 2 AANR respresentatives present to certify the count.

Jul 13, 2009We had 41 people here at The Terra Cotta Inn, Palm Springs. We are a 17 room inn and had to turn away in excess of over 100 phone call requests as we didn't want to overcrowd the guests here on their vacations. MChttp://sunnyfun.comhttp://theterracottainn.blogspot.comReactReply
