Private profiles

Why is it allowed that people set their profile in private and then check all text and photos of people that do not hide.

I thought hidden profiles where not allowed at all.
If allow it then make sure these people can not see other profiles of people who do not hife. That is really annoying.

There is no rule saying you can't make your profile private. Should there be? Maybe. You can restrict who views your photos to a degree by limiting some or all to certified users. Not sure why you want to hide your group/forum posts.

If I get a f/r from someone whose profile is private, I usually reject it. If people want to meet other nudists, they shouldn't have private profiles.
Why would they want a private profile on a nudist site? Are they hiding something?

I totally agree. I can never understand why anyone on a naturist site fails to post naked photos of themselves. I have been on here for almost 15 years and never had a problem with showing myself naked in photos or videos. I do like to see who I am chatting with and often delete those without at least a pic or two.

If I encounter a private profile I block them. I understand why some people might not post a picture but see no valid reason that they dont present themselves in some way on a profile. Not interested in the mystery guest.

A bit of a typo in my post, i.e., many are just looky-loos, just here to salivate over the nude photos. I treat them the same as a mostly blank profile - decline or block as needed.

I agree, if your on a nudist site there's no reason to hide, or say your looking for local friends , then chat with them and turn around and block them. And go private.

Yes I like to see who I am being friends with. Get a lot of blot here that think that no pictures your to accept them.

You can always accept, peruse their profile if it's friends only and then decide whether to unfriend or not. You can also search the forums for their username to see what, if anything, they've posted.
