How do I delete my profile?

I cant believe there is no easily obtainable information on how to do this. There also isnt a way to contact the site except through snail mail. Through the forums, I tracked down what is supposedly one of the admins profiles and emailed them, but no response. Does anyone else think this is strange?

"My settings" / "Account" tab / "Delete my account" (bottom of page) - pretty straightforward.

The site has thousands of members with as many suggestions and technical issues, and endless controversies, which the site owners stay out of; better to appeal to other members for help.

You may have to do it from a PC, I don't see that option on the mobile version.

It's there on my android phone. Scroll to the very bottom of the Settings / Account Settings page.

Is supposed to be straight forward. After you follow those steps. It will ask you for your password. After typing your password it will tell you in a pop up message " incorrect password" and that's why so many people can't delete their damn accounts. I am one of them.
