Me too, especially when working on a project. A tool belt could help for some of the items, but most of my tools don't really fit in the belt.
I bought a vlecro strap large enough to go around my thigh. I have a phone case on it so that I can carry my phone around when working around the house. I have also clipped my fixed blade knife and sheath to it so that I can carry them if I am hiking in the back woods.
