RE:Finding real, respectful nudist to chat and make friends.

Samwize asked:

So, I guess my question is. Why join a Social Nudist group, if you dont want to be Seen?

In a perfect world, this would not be an issue. But if a school board found nude pictures of a schoolteacher, no matter what the context is, that could be grounds for dismissal. And there are religious workers whose jobs could be jeopardized if the people they worked with found out that they were nudists, if nudity had been considered a sin in that congregation.

And there are people who would be shamed if members of their extended family found them posing naked. We are still a Puritan culture in many respects.

I am retired, so work is not a problem. However, church, extended family and some non-nudist friends could be.

I understand how people feel. But in all seriousness. If these People; Family, friends churches, etc, shame or shun you. Are they really worth having in you life?

And being a Christian myself, I still live by the A motto, I will not let My liberty be judged by Another mans conscience.

Idealism is nice and all, but... realism rules the world.

Too true. Thats why I like to be real. Ideals are just things you wish that Where. But things you can not effect. Lots of things in life are not Ideal. But we live with them anyway. I live life with purpose, moral grounding and faith.

The reality is that many people live with jobs that do not tolerate nudism. Teaching is one of them. People like to live, eat, stay in warm homes, etc and this takes money. Many can not risk losing their jobs over openly displayed nudism. Those who are real nudists go to clubs, nudist beaches, etc and do not need to put a whole bunch of photos on line for anyone and everyone to see.

You are very right about having to sort through folks. I flagged one earlier for spam. 1 picture of a pretty young thing.{which may or may not have been the person opening the account} Only had the account 5 hours, and already trying to get folks to go to a porn site. Probably some way for that individual to make money.
Sadly, that's one issue regular nudists have to deal with in real life as well. There seems to be some overlap between the nudists and naked swingers, at both resorts and beaches. And while the latter may appreciate the former, the reverse is not necessarily true.
If the swingers will just respect the boundaries of the nudists{non-swingers} all seems to be ok.
My first time at a nudist resort with a friend, I didn't understand the question when asked if we were nudists.
What the guy really was asking was if we were swingers. Now, after being inappropriately propositioned by too many weirdos, I understand the question. lol
More than once, a weird guy would wait until I left to use the restroom or some such, then proposition the gal I was with. Once by passing a note. lol. Another time, the guy kept offering counter-offer after counter-offer. Stuff he wouldn't do if I was there.
Unfortunately there's not much you can do, either in real life or online, but take one person at a time, and hope for the best.
"Feel the room", like some say. Also, because different people want different things.
I've also had some really strong come-ons by females{at a resort} that were more swinger oriented than regular nudist.
One made more than one comment that might've gotten a guy labeled as a weirdo, before getting that I wasn't interested. lol
Also, if you're a swinger at a nudist resort, maybe at a time when they're having a swinger party,{cuz that does happen} stick to the party "boundaries". There may be people living/staying there that simply wish to be left alone by the swingers.
Living free does not mean boinking anything that moves. lol
So definitely pay attention to your "spidey-sense", and learn to appreciate the friendly, respectful folks.
And good luck to ya!

Excellent! The world would be a better place if everyone lived with this mindset...

women dont know they hv choices, they dont need to give away their power ...they can choose to rise above
to love themselves, cos often enough, they dont, thy need validation externally from others to love them...and they settle for less...
