A challenge to all my TN friends

We all know that the owner of the site has a daunting task of managing thousands of accounts and an equal amount of expectations. I want to challenge all my fellow members, paid and unpaid, to take a look at any groups you have started, and consider if they have become what you intended them to be. I have closed several of my groups due to lack of members or interest. If they are just sitting there with a couple of members and not even a discussion or two, why not remove it. These groups take up valuable server space and clutter the groups page.
So If your groups has few members, or has just become dead space, seriously consider removing it. We promise, we will not love you less and will be grateful for the "spring cleaning" of this wonderful oasis for nudists.
The challenge is on!!

What a brilliant idea, sadly I doubt it will catch on with those looking for their '15mins of fame'.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but even the inactive groups do serve a purpose.

They are a quick way to say, and to see, what the member is into. Good for deciding if you have things in common, and want to pursue a friend request. And until all the inappropriate groups are removed, it also gives a good indication as the how the member perceives nudism, and can give a clue, to as to weather they are here for less than honourable reasons.

Even IF no communication on the group forum is apparent, it does not mean that members are not using the group member list, to find members with similar interests, and communicating with them privately.

Being a member of a group, also means that you are alerted to new members joining via your profile update list.

So, yes, seemingly inactive groups, do appear to be a waste of time and bandwidth, but in reality, it may not be the case.

Phil.

Phil, As usual, you make great sense.

Great way to look at it, Phil and one I hadn't considered. Something else people can do is "quit" groups they're really not interested in, don't participate in, or haven't even looked at in months and months.

Another thing people can do to help take some of the load off of TT1 and TT2's shoulders is just totake a look at the pictures they're posting and make sure they are following the picture posting rules/guidelines...if not then remove them and replace them with ones that do comply!

Photo Guidelines..Please follow them (this appears any and every time you upload a photo to your profile)
1. Your profile photo (1st picture) must contain you. Afterwards you may upload any photos you like
2. Please no erection shots, crotch shots or pornographic photos
3. No Spread Eagle, or shots where the butt, genitals or anus are the main focus point.
4. Images containing nudity can not contain anyone under the age of 18.
5. We are no longer approving pictures that contain only genitals,
6. If you choose not to show your face then you may not show your genitals.
7. All Photos are approved at the discretion of the administrator.
