Furnace Repair
My furnace quit putting out warm air -- I generally heat my house with wood, but I'm low and will need to run the furnace for a couple of days until I can get more wood.
Called a repair guy. Said he could be out in about an hour. I told him I'm a nudist and that I will not be wearing clothing.
He said, " um ok." Hesitated, but agreed to come out.
When I saw his truck in the driveway, I went out, and opened the garage door.
Turned out to be a very minor problem and he got it fixed right away.
He was a total gaze averter. Didn't look at the ceiling or floor. Rather, he wouldn't even face my direction unless he absolutely had to. He did look at me while I was counting out the cash.
But he knew in advanced -- had to cause for complaint.
money talks said folks have such a hangup about skin , i had a similar incident but not a repair man that i called but the gas company that services my area . must have been 7-8 pm i got a knock on the door it was winter so i was running around in my t-shirt but bottomless answering the door the man said they had a gas leak they had fixed but were checking all the gas units in the homes - stove, hot water heater , gas heat yeah sounded strange but he was in a company uniform and a company truck was in my driveway so i let him in . i'm not one to have a towel , shorts or coverup when someone knocks on my door but i do use the door to shield myself somewhat but he wanted in so in he came i don't think he notice i was nude below my waist till he got into the kitchen to check the stove and turned around and looked somewhat surprised but said nothing. next he followed me to the hot water heater in the laundry room than asked about my heater , upstairs follow me no doubt he got the best view needless to say everything was ok and he followed me downstairs to the door where i thanked him for checking my house he replied no problem i enjoyed it which led me to ask how often he encountered nudist - he said not often enough and left . my house why shouldn't i be comfortable in my own home if it had been summer i would have been totally nude. i almost forgot about the lady from the electric company several years back again knock on door it was warm month so i was nude again opening door but using it as a shield but those at door can see the right side of my body edge and figure out i'm nude , she was changing out meters and said my power would be out for a few minutes i told her no problem . power went off maybe 5 minutes than popped back on yeah time to reset all the clocks than a knock on the door didn't think and opened it she smiled said all set i thanked her and she left. i really think they're are few people that have a hangup with nudity the problem is when people fondle themselves or with men answer the door with a hardon . show some respect when nude make it be a natural thing about nudism not porn or gratification there is a time or place for that.

If I've called and requested a repairman or any sort of delivery, I let them know while I'm on the phone that I'm a nudist. No need to hid. If they show up unannounced, I still have nothing to hide.
In my opinion (and you're free to reject it), hiding behind the door says there's something indecent, inappropriate, shameful, or obscene about some part of your body.
I've never answered the door with a full boner, but there have been times when I had a bit of a partial. Again, there's nothing indecent or shameful about any part of the human body. No one needs to be shielded from any part of the human body.

What a wonderful attitude and reply! I enjoyed it and I don't encounter nudists nearly enough. Perhaps a fellow nudist?
