I appreciate brevity on True Nudists, though I don't adhere to it, personally. Some would say I'm a wordy cuss-bucket, in fact. There's no denying that I can't without serious effort stop the flow of conversational crap that spills from my fingertips in this place. But this post only seems to confuse me -- I'm in Virginia, a neighbor to North Carolina, living with my nudist honey who lived in NC when we met. So can we get a little background about the "Young" property here? Is that someone's farm, someone's name, some place where young nudists grow out of the soil without fertilization? Visiting any place in the Carolinas that boasts the opportunity to freely exercise our nudism, without legal pitfalls, is a place I would like the GSP position of! Do I have to Duck Duck Go that shit or could the original poster throw us bare folks a bone? North Carolina is nudist unfriendly everywhere, as far as I can tell. It would be lovely to take a day trip to a place in the region where no authorities are sneaking around, popping their gopher heads up over a sand dune or around a tree, looking for naturally-attired individuals to harass and/or arrest for something their ill-informed clothed world calls "indecent". Indecent to me is covering up what this Universe has given us, this beautiful vessel to share with everyone else!

I would suspect than "young" is an auto correct of "your" that went the wrong way.

That's what I've read about Florida.is it true you can be Naked any ware on young property in North CarolinaIf I understand correctly, in Florida, as long as you're on your own property, you can be nude -- even in the front yard -- regardless of who may be passing by. I've read a few news articles about someone who was nude in the front yard -- doing yard work or washing the car or whatever. The neighbors called the police and the police said the person wasn't breaking the law. The caveat being: on your own property.

RE:naked at home

Concerning Florida, I understood that laws allowing public nudity on one's own property were county laws. I am not 100% certain, but this is what I understood. Laws vary from county to county. There was a situation in Stuart, Florida where a man was tending to his front yard nude. He owned the property, and the was doing nothing but gardening. The county laws were that this was allowed. A similar situation is the difference between Playalinda Beach and Apollo in New Smyrna Beach. Playalinda is located in Brevard County which has ordinances against public nudity and Apollo is located in Volusia County where there do not exist such ordinances. Even though these beaches are on Federal land where county ordinances shouldn't apply, Brevard County LEO have from time to time tried to flex their muscles on Playalinda Beaches.

Clarifying based on my understanding. Florida has no state law against being nude on your own property, but some Florida counties do.

This can easily be researched. Google it! For instance, does Broward County, Florida, allow nudity on private property? I will Google right now.

RE:naked at home

It's been explained to me thus: reasonable expectation of privacy = fenced yard or other such strategic landscaping & viewed by the public = soccer moms. This is why I probably won't visit the beach south of Pinellas Pass-A-Grille because it can be seen from Pinellas Cnty even though it is a Federal nature preserve. As always, nudity laws are enforced only when convenient & are simple to write & pass so just assume there is one. There's always Peeping Toms with delicate sensibilities worried about the children.
