Ursula K. LeGuin
I just got through a collection of the first three of Ursula K. LeGuin's Hainish Cycle (Rocannon's World, Planet of Exile and City of Illusions). They recently packaged all three into one book. A bit of a slog for me to get through (it's not casual reading) but well worth it. She was a treasure.
40 some years ago I read tons of Sci-fi books. But somehow never read one of Urisala's Maybe i need to reinvestigate that genre
I am currently reading Skyjack about the hunt for D B Cooper. The guy who jumped out a plane at 10000 ft with 200K in cash
and disappeared in 1971.
I've only read her Earthsea series which I quite enjoyed.
Separate from the story itself, I appreciate how she reverses the standard trend by not describing the skin colour of the dark skinned characters (who are the majority), but describing the light skinned one.
Might take a look at this one.
