How would you rate yourself ??

Return to Discussions

As in all proffessions They are ranks or ratings such as novice apprentence masterwhatever. SO I thought I would ask HOW WOULD YOU rank yourself as a maker of home beer and wine??
1. A Cherry FNG F*** new guy or gal Beginner
2.A Beginner
3.An Amatuer
4. A Novice
5.An Apprentence
6. A Brewer
7.A BrewMaster
8. A Senior Brewmaster
9. A Professional Brewmaster.
As for myself I would consider myself a Learning Apprentice..
I am still learning the art or craft of Beer making.. Most of which is self taught. Through trial & error. I have read some books on it.. I just have fun with it..
I come up with new ideas with the hope I might get a NEW FLAVOR that hasn't been done yet.. My mind wanders in strange places LOL.
P.S. The Smokey C.R.R.A.B. will be ready for mid- Aug. And the Hops-A-Lot-White in Sept.

Don't punch my nose.. John I respectfully disagree. I am still learning.I come up with these NEW ideas because I want something diffrent thats on the market..I still do and like " traditional types" of beer. All my experimental brews are done in 3 gal batches so if they suck I'll dump them and move on.. My Regulars are done in 6 to 9 gal batches that the good ews. Bad news it doesn't keep the gremlins and mice away
