Gas and rest room stops

I have a pic posted of getting gas. I thought about it a long time. Plodded the place at nice. Went in to buy stuff just to see what the staff was doing. One night coming home from the gym I was just in loose shorts and flip flops and I needed gas. I pulled in and the counter person was mopping the floor
I pulled over and positioned the car - left the front door open with my phone positioned on arm rest, set the timer, dropped my shorts and got the much needed gas. Cars drove past as the station sits on US30 but with the door open and the pump on on side and the vehicle on the other and the door at the front someone would need to look much more carefully to see my nudity.
I left with no problems!
It's a nice idea if I'm already driving nude, which I do fairly often on long trips. I was able to stay nude for a wayside restroom stop once. It was along a remote two lane highway, not visible from the road and nobody was there. I tried the nude-at-the-gas-pump once, it wasn't a good experience. I positioned the car, opened the door just right, etc, but somebody exited the shop at the wrong time. I jumped into the car and slipped my shorts on, no bad consequences but I not sure I'll ever try it again. Then again, never say never.
Last summer during my World Naked Bike Ride Summer Tour, I did a lot of driving, mostly at night. I did over a dozen nude gas stops, mostly at rural exits where the store was closed but the pumps were on. I did do a few at stations where the store was open and was seen a couple times. As far as the rest stops, I did it once after leaving Montreal. The first rest stop after crossing the border into the U.S. was practically empty with just one semi truck in the parking lot. Since I had already slipped off my shorts after crossing the border and was not wearing a shirt I decided to walk into the rest room nude. The place was not well lit and kind of looked closed which is why it probably was empty. I went to the restroom nude, not carrying any clothes so if someone showed up they would see me nude. No one came so I walked back to the car and left. I would have stayed there a while but I needed to keep going.
I've stopped and filled up the tank naked a few times. One time at night and another during the day. It was thrilling. There were people present both times. I even went inside the station to get a drink. There were a lot of shocked stares but no one said anything. The last time I got gas naked, the station was on a busy corner. Unfortunately an off duty cop came over and arrested me. With that and so many cameras around these days, I haven't done it since.
I have been successful at refueling nude multiple times. It takes practice and the right circumstances. All of mine were during daylight hours. Leaving the driver's door open works well to block the view one way, but the rear view is fair game! Several have spotted me briefly but most likely weren't sure what they saw!
Several years back, I set up a tripod for the iPhone at one station, taking ten shots comfortably.
There have been many times I elected not to step out of the vehicle nude when circumstances weren't right.
Once, I pulled up to a pump while a young lady was already pumping gas at the same pump on the opposite side. I observed the situation as I had no clothes to wear and after watching her continually. tapping away on her phone, I decided to see if I could do it. I stepped close to the pump, ran the card, and started fueling three feet away from her. When her fuel pump stopped, she replaced the nozzle, got in her car, and drove away, still playing with her phone. It was thrilling to be naked, feet away from one another during daylight hours. I won't forget that one for a while!
