my preferences are rather complicated. when i wear briefs, there is no problem because nothing hangs. the problem begins when i wear boxers, and it happens often because i like boxers. my most favourite clothes are shorts and boxers. i like to wear them during the whole warm season, unless i am in the office.
i also like my penis to hang to the right and my balls to hang to the left. this structure helps avoid sweating in the pubic area.
the problem is that my penis, when soft, is rather small (3 inches) and very flexible. so, unless i take preventive measures, it slides out of the right side, during walking, and joins the balls on the left. consequently, the right side becomes empty and the bulge on the left side becomes too big and heavy.
to avoid this mishap, i usually pull my boxers up as high as possible, so the junction of the boxers' legs divides the penis and the balls forcefully, which makes my penis remain in the position, which i prescribed to it.
unfortunately, when i walk, my pants and boxers move lower with every step. and it is difficult to pull them up on public, unless i am in a washroom. and i do not know how this problem can be resolved.
this problem exists equally whether i wear long pants or shorts. but it is easier to resolve it with shorts. when i wear shorts and boxers and an unauthorized change by my penis of its position takes place, i just put my hand inside the boxers from below and return the penis to where it should belong.
by the way, i am right-handed. but i do not think that it can influence the preferable position of the penis.
left handed, but hang right side. Often in dress pants which I wear rather fitted, I can position all on the seam so nice rounded bulge instead of actually seeing cock hang down leg. In sales and do presentation with accounts sitting so could be awkward in professional setting with mostly women at presentation and me standing at table. If presentation of guys, don't care what is seen.

it is clear from the answers that most men let their genitals hang TOGETHER either on the right or on the left side.
it looks like i am the only one who DIVIDES the genitals. as i said before, when i wear boxers, my penis hangs on the right side and the balls hang on the left side.
is there anybody else here who likes to do the same?
