Time to sum up (again). Of the 72 replies, 56 answered the question from a personal point of view. (The other 16 were repeats, discussions or theories - and one man who's disobedient bits did not hang the way he wanted. There were some that sensuously flipped from side to side.)
Of those 56, tha vast majority, 46,are right handed.That's 82%, or four fifths.
The large majority ,39, hang to the left. That's 70%, or over two thirds.
In detail the answers are: 33 right handed men hang to the left; 13 right handed men hang to the right; 6 left handed men hang to the left ;and 4 left handed men hang to the right. So a dominating 59% of our sample are right handed and dress to the left.
The tailors were right in making a little more room on the left and the theorist was right in saying a man hangs on the opposite side to his dominant hand (as long as he isn't left handed lol).
