At YMCA this morning. Gig Harbor. Washington State. After a week of Pirate Bob nude parading in locker room, slowly nudi-tude changing? From all towels and swimsuits first morning, to half the folks nude today. Biggest success was guy showering in orange baggies. Sees Pirate. Thinks. And then, like a happy kid, sheds his ugly sh-t trunks and joins the nekkid numbers. Hooray!!! Light one candle!! Namaste!!!

Congratulations on being upfront and normal. One new nudist at a time and making them feel good about themselves!

I love my gym - mostly gay guys with little shame, so it's only the occasional younger guy who's showering with his trunks on. Looks so silly and uncomfortable to me... I just don't get it!

That confirms my thesis that most men in the US aren't shy, they are just conventional and afraid of arousing attention. Since I am 53 and in good shape, I feel that it's up to me and my generation to lead by example like you. Good work, man!

Great job Bob. I love to hear stories like this. We all need to be a good example to those who want to go nude but just need an example. We men seem to like to do copy other men.
I have a story of what happened to me earlier this year. My 26 year old nephew goes swimming with me at a city gym. After the swim, we go into the open showers. I get undressed and started to wash. My nephew still has his swimming trunks on. He says to me,"I have never done this." I told him it was okay ithere is nothing to be afraid of or embarrassed about. After about another minute he gets undressed and washes up. After we both finished washing we grabbed our towels and wiped down to dry off. I was holding my towel and beginning to walk to the locker. I turn to look at my nephew that had wrapped the towel around himself. He looked at me and without saying a word he took the towel off and held it while walking back to the locker. Hold your towels and keep your heads up men!
