Tan Through Only

Anyone here who only wears tan through swim suits?
I do, primarily because they are lighter in weight and therefore feel less confining and dry faster.
The tan through feature is good, but of secondary importance to me.

That's all I wear when I have to wear a suit. I like the ones from Kiniki. They dry fast and pack easily. They are also great for hot tubs. The tan thru feature lets the bubbles past through so you don't get an inflated suit. Depending on the situation, I have their swim briefs, trunks and shorts. They do tend to run small so I order a couple of sizes larger.

I prefer Cooltan. The Kiniki material made me itch.

I never tried anything from Kiniki, as I never got to the point where I was prepared to stump up for mail-order to Australia. My one Cool Tan suit, found on a clearance rack on holiday in Perth, was great for quick drying but I thought the cut/style was less than perfect. My wife, a confirmed textile, got two one-pieces (with only a small crotch lining) at the same sale and happily wore them until they lost their elasticity.

Skinzwear have tan-through fabrics and mesh fabrics (similar weight but no claims about sun protection) and I prefer their styles for look and fit.

Of course nothing dries faster than bare skin, but these tend to be the next best thing. I have no idea how long board shorts take to dry and have no intention of finding out!

You need a calendar not a stopwatch to time that.

Too say nothing of the resulting tanlines!

Agreed. No tan line or small white area is fine. White to the knees is not.
