Tan through swimsuit at a water park

Has anyone worn a tan through swimsuit at a water park?
I like the light weigh and fast drying qualities, in addition to minimizing tan lines.
However I am concerned that they might rip on the slides since they are so thin and lightweight.

I have a few years ago, but you need to be very careful, as you say they may rip, i only did a few rides though

That could be fun in the right setting

When I went to Atlantis a few years ago, the side seam ripped on my swim short.
The only other swimsuit I had packed was a brief.
A staff person told me that men's swim briefs were discouraged on the water slides because they tended to rip.
Mine didn't.

I've never had a problem on the few slides I've tried, but I've usually gone down with my body raised for extra speed anyway!

So thats what happened to my suit.

I have kept a suit for years now in case I need one. But the seam was coming undone.

Oh yes I have worn them to the park. Mine ripped the front open. I had to turn the suit sideways as much as I could while wearing it. The walk back to the truck was very uncomfortable and interesting. lol an extra cooling hole. Lol

Or get you escorted out of the park in the wrong one!

I bought a regular, not tan through swimsuit, for this vacation because we thought that we were going to a war park. We didn't, but I wore itba few times where I thought my tan through brief would be inappropriate. I had forgotten just how much more confining they felt compared to tan through swimsuits.

Oh yes I have worn them to the park. Mine ripped the front open.

Was that due to activity or the inherent pressure your anatomy put on the suit in question? ;-)

The closest experience to that for me was way back in time with my first beach visit with my girlfriend (now wife). I didn't even have a swimsuit so grabbed an old pair of Stubbies shorts (Australians will know) to wear.

It turned out they were worn enough to split in the rear as I splashed around in the gentle waters of Port Phillip. I did have briefs on underneath so no exposure, but the event was a catalyst for my girlfriend to buy me a 'proper' swimsuit, a basic black 3" brief. Little did she know at the time that it was the first step towards acceptance of swimbriefs, then smaller and smaller suits down to nothing when I can get away with it...

A 3 brief? I cant say iv heard that as a thing, but sounds rather on the small side. Cant imagine them holding that much.

3" at the sides. Pretty conservative compared to some of my other suits.
