Philosophy Of Nudism And Naturism

Looking g to start a group to discuss the big questions of nudism and naturalism. I am interested in why people choose nudism. What, if any, religious or spiritual reasons are there for nudism. What is nudism and what is not nudism. What are the subtle differences between nudism and naturism? What about the ethics surrounding nudism and naturism? Let your voice be heard tell us your story.

Is God a nudist? Would clothes be important to any divine being? They are kind of a construct of man.

Yes, He is. Clothes were not part of God's original plan. He made Adam and Eve without clothes to look like Him as noted in the following verses from Genesis.

1:27 God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day

2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

It is an interesting side note that on the first 5.5 days of creation, God looked at the things He had created and said they were "good" but after He created (naked) humans, then His assessment was "very good."

So bottom line, if he wasn't a nudist, Adam and Eve would had clothes when they were created.

They only wanted to cover themselves AFTER they had sinned.

If you want to know the truth about 'Adam and Eve' read 'The Origin of God' by Laurence Gardner. It's a factual exploration of the history of civilisation beginning with the first organised humans in Mesopotamia, thousands of years before the bible was written.
