Lots 9-13 have been closed again due to sand washing over road in recent storms. The latest NPS update:
*Playalinda Beach lots 9 - 13 are closed Monday thru Thursday, until mid-October, for sand relocation from roadway. Parking lot two is temporarily closed Mondy-Thursday and open Friday thru Sunday."

Thanks. So it's open Fri thru Sun. How bad is the road? Can it be driven without 4 wheel drive?
