Has anyone here ever made the trek between Playalinda Lot 13 and Apollo Lot 5 via the Klondike Trail? According to Google Maps, it takes 4.5 hours to walk it (one way), and only 1 hour on a bike. But isn't the sand too soft, even for a fat tired bike?

For comparison, the Klondike Trail is 13 miles. And the fastest route by car on paved roads (Lot13 to Lot5) is 65 miles and takes over an hour, even in light traffic.

Second question is, how much and what kind of traffic can be expected on that trail and can it be done nude without getting in trouble?
And yes, I've considered biking next to the water on the hard packed sand but I just want to do the trail as well. Even with the heat and the bugs. I can be a little weird that way.
