Finally shaved but had to do it a mirror with an electric razor.
Return to DiscussionsI have wanted to shave for a long time but cant see beyond my belly, so shaving cream and a safety razor seemed a bit too dangerous for me. So I eventually got up the nerve to try an electric razor - carefully! As I expected, it did not do a complete job because of the curly pubic hairs, but I have been sporadically shaving a little by little over the past few days and I think it looks okay now but not great with a few more stubble to go. My belly required that I shave in the mirror which made it counterintuitive - a challenge for sure. Even though I have been shaving my face in the mirror for more than half a century, shaving my pubic area is not the same for some reason. I guess the solution is to keep at it every day so that if I miss an area randomly Ill also randomly get it the next day or two before it becomes ratty again. This is a learning experience for sure, but I am pleased with the look. Now if I can only lose some turn weight!
Well I have done the Brazilian wax before. Oh you are so smooth after. And it only took a Tylenol before to get through it.
But I know a guy in Phoenix that uses a hair removal cream. He loves it ! Mind you its timing when to wash the cream off.
In the summer I shave, but when it gets cooler I need to go back to the Brazilian wax.
invest in a cordless bodygroomer or mangroomer and toss the razor . i use a mangroomer and 10- 15 i'm done neck to toes and it's very forgiving on the belly yeah i have one too as well as penis and balls.
I bought a handheld trimmer so I could do my hair on my own (although my wife reckons that when I do my head on my own it's an interior job) and it's good to trim all areas. Trimming as much as possible before shaving would help get a better result.
