I would assume that most of us are retired.
I found that when I retired it greatly increased my opportunities to be nude and also allowed me to significantly decrease my clothing supply.
Who else found that one or both happened to them?

I retired at age 55 & found the exact same thing. Im naked all day if I want, just buying an occasional shirt or shorts for my uptown trips, coffee with my buddies and then take it off when I come back home. But I dont need many clothes anymore otherwise , & I love it. Id give anything to get my old nude friendly house back because I dont have so much as a deck or backyard to sit outside naked. It really is wonderful to be retired to a nude life though. Im not shy about being seen at my door or getting my mail in the nude either!

Are there any types of clothing you don't have at all, like sleepwear, underwear, swmwear, dress slacks or dress shirts. or even long slacks if you live in a warm climate?

Nice to know there are a bunch of us with the same mind set. I retired 6 years ago, it's been a slow transition, but I have gotten rid of all my work clothes, ties, shirts, sock and slacks. Few suits went too. I kept one suit for weddings/funerals. my closet is less than a 1/3 used now. Haven't wore underwear in 6 years, so those got thrown away. I am nude about 90% of the time, many times I walk out to the garage(open garage) to retrieve something from the freezer or just walk out for something in my BS, then remember and go back in, Pretty sure neighbors seen me but just toss up to the eccentric old guy. slip on shorts and shirt to walk the dog or get groceries. I really love my life now it is refreshing to know others share in this.

Have you tried wearing just shorts for walking the dog, front yard work, etc.?

Been retired for nine years. When I did, all my uniforms were donated to goodwill. We bought a place in Florida and co took some clothes down and leave them there and a few at our home north. I went from seven drawers and half of a walk in closet of apparel to three drawers and three dress outfits in the closet and two work outfits for outside if need be which has been never I think. My wife on the other hand....has a full dresser of her own, took over my empty drawers and still travels back and forth with huge duffle of clothes.

    Love this topic.
I recently retired, and I am now naked at home 90% of the time.
I waxed the car (in my garage) the other day. ..a first.

As a side note...being naked all day has an added benefit, for ,me. My cock is more "fluffed up" by hanging free! That, and I have always been one to unconsciously handle it all the time. I catch myself lightly tugging at it periodically. Anyone else an unconscious tugger?

I too am nude most of the day and i find myself unconsciously fondling myself quite often. No harm done i suppose and my wife never mentions it. Ironically though, when im at nudist venues or with others i dont have the tendency to do it.

At work I had to wear formal clothes - a suit, shirt and tie. On the day I retired I stripped off on the way home and made a bonfire of my work clothes. Then I had 4 suits. Now I have one (for weddings and funerals). It was a few years before I could really get into nudism, after my wife died. I too spend a lot of time naked at home and go on many nude holidays each year. My clothing has changed - to things I might need to wear if going out whilst on holiday. It's T shirts and mini kilts or a cloth worn as a toga.

Did you have clothing that you wore primarily for work?
If so, did you get rid of if?

I've been retired 13 years. Home nudist for most of those. Until marriage got rocky a couple years ago Now recently divorced and nude all the time. The freedom is so great, and helpful and healing. Now meeting and bonding and entering the next phase of life, naked. I would never have thought this path could be so rewarding.

Regarding my clothes, First my dresser has 4 drawers and 3 are empty. closest is 75% empty. I do have a jacket but spend my winter's in Arizona (Magic Circle) sometimes I do just walk the dog with shorts. Alas I have to be cognizant of myself as I just walked outside in my birthday suit totally oblivious cause I spent so much time it has just become normal to me. Oh and I am barefoot 90% of the time (except AZ)....might as well go all the way if your changing your life style

What types of clothing did you keep and what did you get rid of? How did you dispose of unwanted clothing?
I've been a jobless person only since Christmas and like the rest of you, I have very little need for all the clothes I have stuffed into closets here and there. My intention is to wear clothing only when environmentally necessary. Really enjoying the retired life so far.
Are you considering getting rid of some or most of the clothing you have stuffed into closets and are not using?
Yes I now have time to enjoy nudity much more. I Especially like being outside on my deck. Even tan looks better too. If I have to go some place I usually go commando, underwear now seems so confining!
Have you gotten rid of any clothing especially underwear?

For instance I wear it when I mow the yard because I get sweaty and need the absorption. I also wear it when I ride my bike, it keeps me from getting rather raw down there.
I stopped wearing underwear for yard work before I freeballed other places. Much more comfortable than having two layers. I wear padded bike shorts so there is no need underwear ehen I bike.
I need two layers in the Kansas summers. I've mowed the yard when it's 114 degrees! LOL I will look for the padded bike shorts. Sounds practical.
At 114 degrees, I would be mowing in the lightest weight shorts I own, no underwear or shirt!
