Return to DiscussionsAny NC resident nudist should know about Beachfest, I'm kind of shocked! It's at White Tail Resort and it's coming up fast, yikes! This year should be fun - with every accommodation besides tent sites sold out for a couple of months, we're expecting a grand affair. If you've got the time to make it and you enjoy adult beverages you should find a designated driver and beat bare feet there! Do be aware that it is (almost) the only weekend of the year where we ask parents to get a babysitter and leave the young-uns at home due to the large amount of drinking going on. All of the proceeds from the drinks being poured goes toward some specific project around the resort, like the electric door openers one year and the poolside lift seats for people with disabilities, etc. There's a big raffle of donated baskets, music and entertainment, drinks served hourly on the pool deck Friday and Saturday (donated by members and sold via tickets you purchase for a dollar each, varying amounts of tickets for the different drinks). The blessing of the nanner happens on Thursday - don't miss out of the good times.
