After the ride is over, how do you get back to the start?

Shuttle?

Or, does it loop around so you start and finished at essentially the same spot.

I can only speak about the ride in Los Angels.
All ten rides (2010 to 2019) started and ended at the same location.
From what I have read, most rides follow that format.
Due to Covid-19 last years ride was cancelled.

I don't think so.
You either ride before have someone meet you.
