The beach is rocky there are three trails to get down to the beach . Longest way is least steep. The shortest way requires to free hands to grip and use ropes for about 160 feet of extremely steep dirt wall. The way we choose is the middle way. Few steep spots but we can carry beach chairs. The middle way also has steel stairs at would have been a big drop. Parking is easiest near the steepest trail. The lookout tourist steep place can't see the beach. My second favorite nude beach.

Pros: During low tide you can wade very far out and the shallow water heats up fast in the bay. We like to talk along the beach at low tide. Most people are from Bellingham others from Everett. Camping is done by only a few on the least steep t rail. FREE

Contras: When it is windy it real windy. We only go on days over 80F. No bathrooms, no support. Go with friends and use a restroom before you take on the beach. Stay off the rail road tracks.

Once you get down the trail with the rope wearing good boots, then you will see how beautiful and quiet it is. Well worth the walk. We will for sure be frequently visiting during the nice weather.

    Pros: Peaceful, scenic

Contras: The walk down the hill
