My Favorite Hot Spring
5.00I just got back from a couple of days at Faywood, my first visit since the start of the apocalypse. I’ve been to Faywood half a dozen times or so and I’m never disappointed. As usual I’m ready to go back. The descriptions of the resort in the previous reviews are fair and accurate. Faywood is not a 5 Star resort, it’s very rustic and I like it just the way it is. Prior to COVID, in addition to overnight guests staying in the campground/RV spots and cabins, the resort was open to day visitors that paid a flat entry fee and could use the facilities all day. Day visitors are now limited to rentin…

Beautiful place
4.00This rustic hot spring resort has been improved according to long time visitors I`ve talked to. I was surprised how large the place is, it`s about 1/2 mile in circumference. The clothing optional camping area is fairly small, but in close proximity to one set of clothing optional pools. Unfortunately there are no showers there, and showers are required to go into the pools, so you have to put on your clothes and walk over to the other clothing optional area which has showers and a flush toilet. The other toilets in the campground are outhouses. The pools are a set of 3 in each area with Very H…
Pros: Large resort, many campsites, clothing optional campsite & 2 clothing optional pool areas, very reasonable rates for camping & day soaking. Pools are open all night. 3 temperature choices.
Cons: No showers by closest clothing optional area, very few flush toilets. Layout is a bit confusing for newbies. You can`t adjust the temperature of the water yourself, as you can at El Dorado.

Love this place
5.00This is our 3rd stay at Faywood. We stay in the cabins and bring all our own food so that we never have to leave the quiet and tranquility of the place. We enjoy the rustic solitude and relaxation that we gain each time we visit! The soaking pools offer warmth and healing for our achy joints. We plan to return many times in the future!!
Pros: Reasonable rates! Comfy cabins! Peace and quiet! Healing hot springs!
Cons: We haven`t found any at this point!

Wonderful Place
4.00If you are a camper who appreciates simple relaxation, this place is perfect. I camped in the Clothing Optional area of this location and it didn’t disappoint. The campsites are fairly close together but the hosts will allow you to move to another site if the other site is not reserved; a simple call to the office letting them know which site you will be moving to is all it takes. The clothing optional area is dry camping only. There is room for large RVs/trailers but again, no hookups in this part of the campground. The entire campground is large and includes all the basic amenities (shower…
