A thought on the etiquette of private chatting which I follow and would like to share. It is downright rude and impolite in the midst of a decent conversation to go off line or disconnect without a good enough reason . If there is a breakdown in the chat connection I believe in following it up with a message to the person I have been chatting with, to explain the situation. However disinterested one might be in carrying on a chat there can be an excuse made to bring it to an end graciously.
