Hi everyone. I've long enjoyed the feeling of being nude around the house and I'd like to try getting involved in nude social activities, but I have no idea where to even start. Any advice for a complete noob?

Okay, I uploaded a profile pic and updated my profile. I imagine you guys get lots of scammers and the like, so I totally get your being cautious! I also did the certification process, but it seems that will take a day or two to be complete.

Jun 19, 2024Search in the Groups for groups located near you. Group discussions have often gone pretty flat, so you might want to message group members about nude places near you.The internet is not real life. You'll find a huge focus here just on pictures, with very little actual conversation.ReactReply - HO
Jun 19, 2024This is very accurate. You may want to expand your search beyond this site to find relevant groups in your area. Meetup, the AANR website are alternative options. Thanks, guys. I've joined a Pennsylvania group and will see what's going on there.

Jun 20, 2024Youve got 2 really good nudist resorts within an hours drive to you ( Sunny Rest and PSHS). Either will be a great launching point. Have fun !

Thanks for the tips! I was aware of Sunny Rest and kind of working up my nerve to check them out. I now see that there's a Sunny Rest group here on TN, so I joined that. One step in the right direction! I hadn't heard of PSHS, so I'll definitely check them out as well.

Quick followup--I went to Sunny Rest last week and had an awesome time. I'll definitely be going back! Thanks for the guidance.

Jul 8, 2024Glad you're linking up with people. I'd also advise you to join The Naturist Society and/or the American Association for Nude Recreation. Many resorts will give you a break on the daily visit rates if you're a member of either association.
And many of these resorts have a bulletin board where you can post your interest in making contact with people in your area. These are usually more effective than web sites like this, because the people who read it are probably already those who have done something about their interest in nudism.
There don't seem to be any non-landed clubs in New Jersey or eastern Pennsylvania, but you might be able to find other members of those associations in your area.
