I have raised this issue with TT2 last week. She eventually replied with the answer that all new users are now issued with a default username such as the name which you listed above. It is up to the individual user to allocate their own username if they wish too.Personally I don't like the default username option as they give the impression that this site is full of spammy profiles all with similar usernames.
