Pushing Boundaries

Unfortunately, clothing can be daring. At some beaches my Speedo is daring, at another my thong is daring. Wearing a thong at those Speedo beaches could get nasty catcalls and/or a visit from a LEO after being reported by someone who knows better.

While speedos are daring at some beaches, I don't think that you can get in legal trouble for wearing one.
Thongs and g strings are a different story.

It's hard to imagine any beach in Florida escorting a female away for wearing a thong. With the present national gender equality status, we find ourselves embroiled in a male should be treated no differently. I believe most laws today clearly state that the reproductive organs of both genders are things not to be shown at a public venue when it is not a structured nudist area.
So as long as you are "tucked in" there should be no problem legally. You can't say the same for the opinions of the boisterous jealous sun-lover giving you a "cat" call!

True in FL perhaps, but some states require the rear crack to be covered.
I certainly see more people in thongs in SE Florida than in NJ. Less so on the Gulf Coast. They are surprisingly common at Disney, possibly because of the large number of foreign tourists.

I wore thing underpants as a costume at Disney becaus I had forgotten to pack a costume becaus I had not anticipated that the conference hotel would have a pool.

At Legoland Florida I decided not to bother having a swim. Would have been the only swim brief in a world of big, brick-like board shorts. Probably would have been okay, but it was one place I suspected I might get called out by others so I just sat on a sun lounge. The females had the usual variety but I cannot recall anything especially daring. I got my swim in at the pool where we were staying.

Which Disney location was this?

It was a large Disney conference hotel in Florida in the 1990's and I don't have any further information to hand.

That's all I needed to know. I know you are much closer to Paris than Florida so I thought it might have been there.

From memory, I don't think any of the Disney Paris hotels have a pool. The ones we stayed in on two visits with grandsons when they reached 4 years old did not.

Quite possibly. The only thing I know about Disney Paris is that it exists.
