Locker room conversations - The Lecturer has no Clothes

A little account of conversations in locker rooms, with notes on the age-grading of the nudity (younger Americans, no. Older and a European, yes.)

Funny and well written article by a young man who has accurately described most male locker rooms that has a range of ages and backgrounds. The author clearly admits he doesn't understand what he's observed and has withheld judgement (mostly) of the reasons men act and talk the way we do when in close naked proximity. Interestingly the one point that didn't seem to occur to him is that some guys just enjoy hanging out naked with their friends and the locker room is the only place a straight non nudist guy can acceptably do that in our society.

BTW this paragraph made me laugh out loud...
"When I come back from the treadmills about 30 minutes later, the art
history professor is still naked, still holding forth. A pair of black
underwear is clenched in his hand, as if hes threatening to put them on
should his listener still the pudgy man, who is mostly clothed at
this point try to escape."
