Don't you think people look better with a tan? More fit, more athletic, more successful. Now, make that an all over body tan, and you got yourself a fun loving nudist. Cheers!!
What does a tan mean to you?

I know that it increases the risk skin cancer but I still like the look. Mine is not even because I drive a convertible, do yard work, walk and bike shirtless but wear shorts to keep out of trouble.
Looks like you have a line at your waist too.
What do you do when you are wearing shorts but not shirt?

I think you're absolutely right! When I'm tanned I look and feel more healthy and happy! An all over tan is the best!!

Yes people do look better, and healthier, with a tan. An all over tan is especially beautiful, as it flows from back to legs without a break. The risk of skin cancer is much reduced with sunblock and careful tanning. And it creates vitamin D which boosts the immune system and reduces the risk of cancer.

I love my tan and yes it makes me feel great. I can not think of anything better than being outside in the pool with Carl or on our floaties catching some AZ Rays!!

Same here, love an ALL OVER tan. Tan lines make me feel like the untanned areas of my body are afflicted with some sort of skin disorder or lack of pigmentation.

I totally agree. A tan, in moderation, is healthy for the skin and research has proven the benefits of vitamin D that the sun provides. The sun fights and kills Covid-19! Plus I like the look of an all over tan.

How much mores have changed. Gone are the days when women wore sun bonnets to keep their faces from tanning. The peaches and cream complexion is apparently no longer "in."

That Bible story, Song of Solomon, features a woman who was self conscious about being tanned, because it was the result of her brothers making her do field work. Nowadays people seek it out, associating it with leisurely beach days.

Although whether all this translates to better treatment of people whose natural skin tone matches the one you're trying to tan to is a different question.

I have mentioned before that when I get to spend months at my place in the Caribbean, I never lie out. Going about my days nude, naturally moving from sun to shade and back again, is enough to make me turn brown all over, except for the inside of my navel. If we could live nude, we wouldn't need sunbathing.

Ah! That's where the sun does not shine.
