They thin out drastically in the first 1/4 mile and after paddling half a mile I am pretty much by myself. I paddle a sit-inside OldTown so can slip out of my shorts and be nude about as long as I want.

I miss my old town vapor I had a problem with my old legs getting in and out so traded to a canoe and sit on but the nice thing of a sit in was getting nude and no one noticing.

I have the same problem with the old legs but my vapor has a very elongated cockpit so can still manage it. When I fly fish gravel bars in the local rivers I use a sit-on-top as it is much easier to slip off and on than in and out. Definitely don't go nude while fly fishing. Never mind the risk of discovery, my casting isn't really great and I have been known to put a hook in my shorts, lol.

Lol I've had a hook in my thigh but never thought about one in my ass or maybe worse my cock or balls not sure how to explain that at the emergence room. I went out in my sit on yak the other day and missed my sit in
I just got home from 7 days camping with my canoe. On Saturday, I saw/heard more airboats than ever before. On Sunday, there was slightly less boat traffic than normal. All the other days, There were way, way fewer boats than I normally see/hear. I did not see a single canoe or kayak other than mine.
Sounds like a great time. I did a canoe/camp trip as a Boy Scout back in the early 1960's and had a blast. Unfortunately my wife's idea of a fun vacation is not dropping me off then driving to my take-out point and waiting a couple (or more)days for me to get there. Still have hopes though.
