When I was a kid, it was just normal to swim naked with my male friends. It was all super innocent and we didnt think twice about it. Heck, if I was staying at a friends house we might take a bath together. There was a farm pond, away from the road, that wed swim in on hot days. We would be riding our bikes and stop off for a quick dip, no bathing suit required.

When I was in college, on hot summer nights without a/c, I would go over to the nearby lake that had a town park beach and swim alone in the moonlight. I mentioned it to a couple of friends, but always ended up walking over alone. There was a fence all around it and it was officially closed, but not hard to sneak in. One night I swam out to the float and was sitting naked there in the warm night air when I saw headlights and a car park. I slipped down in the water to hide since you were not supposed to be in there at night. Then a cop came walking down the beach and I thought he must have seen me and was coming to kick me out or arrest me, but instead he stripped down and got in the water. He swam out to the float and when he climbed up on it I said hi. I thought he was going to have a heart attack! He didnt know anyone was there. We chatted a bit about how nice the night was. He warned me that it was unsafe to swim alone at night and I shouldnt be there, and then we both laughed and just talked for awhile. Then we swam to shore and stood on the beach to dry off before leaving. He said lets just keep this our secret. I never saw anyone else again at the lake when Id go at night, and then I moved to the other side of town and stopped going. I would see the cop around town now and then but never had the chance to talk.
