Return to DiscussionsI have been getting a male Brazilian for 6 years now. The first time may be unpleasant but it really isn't as painful as people make it out to be. On a scale of 1 to 5, the pain is 3.5. It isn't hurtful/painful but just very uncomfortable. However, after a few strips of pulling, you kinda get over it. The key to waxing is to keep doing it. If you go for a wax and do not go for several months later, it is going to hurt. A wax is generally good for 6-8 weeks so you should go make an appointment to get waxed again after 8 weeks. In the spring/summer time, I get waxed every 6 weeks. In the winter, I am less dedicated to it so it ends up being every couple of months. When you are done waxing, just take a shower after and moisturize your body.
I haven't had a "brazilian wax" but I have had my back waxed in the past. Yes ..especially on the tender sides it hurts like hell ..but..its over in a few second. Agree with the suggestion of Advil and my guy would give me 2 glasses of white wine before hand! :p
