I agree. It is always worth loading the photos onto your computer and editing them. I use Photoshop. I usually adjust the exposure, crop them and put them the right way up. When I save the photo I can adjust the file size so it will upload easily (I go for about 400kb). The saved photo replaces the original. So I get to send what I see.

i had the same problems ..
rotation did not solve it.
so i took PAINT , rotated the pic there, made some edge trimming , renamed it and made then uploads..
this worked.

I agree whole heartedly. Lets take some good artistic photos. I am a near professional photographer (I make my living at something else; so not professional). Most of a good photograph is in the subject matter, composition and lighting. Even the most inexpensive photo editing programs are useful. I love digital photography for being inexpensive. I take numberous shots and delete the most of them. Depending on time of day for outdoor shots and ambient light source for indoor shots a little tinkering with white balance and color tint go a long way. Adjusting the histogram is a little advanced for many users but allows even more finite adjustments.I have some very expensive equipment but still take some photos with my smart phone. I add the time and effort to get the background and angle of shot right. What is a "snap shot" but a snap in the wind without any effort to be creative. A photographer is not his equipment but his eye and mind being creative.
