The Nude Lawnmower

Power or manual? Sit or walk-behind? Bagged or mulched? Neatly-trimmed or more natural? This is a group to discuss lawn care, to compare equipment (but guys, lets keep talk about deck height within reason, ok?) and to horse around; all while nude, of course

There's no better way to cut grass than from a padded seat with a cup holder!
I've even been known to cut my neighbors grass because ......... I ran our of my own grass to cut.
For the record, I've never cut the neighbors lawn nude, only mine! :-)

Nude and mowing
Two of the most relaxing things to do
And best when both at the same time

My John Deere L100 Tractor is my "Yard Bitch"!
I've abuse the crap out of that thing for almost 20 years. Finally had to replace the deck because it had too many broken welds.
It cuts grass, sucks up mulch, grades and plows dirt, blazes new trails in my back 40, haul loads of dirt, rock and manuer, plus I use it as a Bush Hawg.
I go through two or three sets of blades a season because of all the crap I plow through and run over and it never gives up!
When it gets filthy, I just hose 'er down!
It's always ready for the next new torture test!
There's nothin' like havin' your own personal "Yard Bitch" And it loves my ass!
It's a very touching relationship we have!

Love my tractor too. I work it pretty hard but I also go overboard with preventative maintenance. I do kick up a lot of dirt, dust, grass, leaves, etc so I do oil and filter changes on a regular basis. Plus gas and air filter changes. And plugs. Plus grease jobs for every zerk I have on the tractor as well as the deck. I've only had to replace one spindle pulley on the deck so far. And I'll probably need to replace at least one spindle soon. Maybe two. And I keep a spare set of blades ready to go. So I'll replace blades that are getting dull then sharpen them in my spare time so they'll be ready to be swapped back on when they're needed.
I'd be interested in hearing from other lawn tractor owners about any upgrades you may have done or thinking about doing. For example, I've been trying to figure out how to mount some sort of holster or holder for my pickup grabber stick. I use it for picking up litter without getting off the tractor. But unless I carry it in my hand, there's no good place to stash it so it won't get in the way or fall off onto the ground.
Another thing, I want to mount a 5 gal bucket on the back to carry tools and trash and anything else that can fit in the bucket. It needs to be easy to reach and mounted well above my trailer hitch ball. Speaking of which, the ball needs to be a little higher and in fact, the bracket needs to be a bit stronger. Too much tongue weight can bend it down and I'm not happy about that. I've seen some aftermarket brackets that look strong enough but I'm still trying to decide what will work with my bucket. I may need to fabricate my own.

RE:Love my lawn tractor

We have close nudist friends that live in WA state. They live on 6+ acres, 3 developed and 3 wooded. Our female friend takes care of the lawn and there's a lot of it! She's got a sitting mower (not sure the make) and was mowing their lawn, front and back, completely naked for a time. She said that once she got down close to the road in front of the house, she slipped on a shirt. Our male friend, her husband, said "I'd take a break from my outside chores just to sit and watch my wife go back and forth, bouncing up and down. I was in heaven!"

As time has passed, they've stored the riding mower and she now has someone else come in and cut the grass. They still do some light trimming, planting and maintenance of their property and do it naked. We've even helped out as well when we've been up visiting! She'd planted some flower boxes with annuals before our arrival. We love sleeping with the windows open when we stay up there. The air is so fresh and clean and it's so quiet. One morning we were awakened by some leaves and twigs cracking outside our bedroom window. I lifted my head slightly to see what it was and it was a deer, eating the newly planted flowers in the flower boxes. Next thing I see is our naked female friend running after the deer to shew it away! :DDDDD

I love nature!
