  My first experience with public nudity. Always been at-home nudist. El Dorado is small, intimate, very friendly. Pool/tub area is very well shaded. That's important in AZ. I loved the atmosphere and openess of everyone there. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for smaller experience.

  Pros: Grounds very well kept. Privacy from main road well maintained. Friendly people.

  Cons: Common area will only accommodate approximately 6-8 people at a time. Three tubs and one small pool only.

  Just got back from a very nice visit. Not sure I would visit again in the summertime, especially during monsoon season. Water was wonderful. I could have done without all the flies but they left at sundown. Hope you stay up wind from the chicken plant too.

  Pros: Rustic but all the tubs in the Desert Pete section were very clean.

  Cons: Flies, early morning birds and the heat mixed with humidity after a thundershower.

  Always great people to chat with if you wish in Desert Pete area. Water is the best you skin will feel so soft. Room to stretch out and get some nude sun time too.

  Fantastic for turning sore muscles into butter and great for the skin. Private areas available to to rent for a very romantic soak. It has a very rustic and eclectic feel, but very comfortable and inviting. The peacocks and animals roaming around adds a cool twist as well! If you haven't gone, I recommend you go!

  Pros: The hot mineral water is amazing on your back and muscles! Great for your skin as well.

  Cons: The drive out is a little long.

  I've been there multipole times always I go to the Desert Pete area that is the communal nude area ( 10 dollars per hour or 30 dollars for the day and u can camp overnight), but I have never camped there mainly because the camping area is not nude. ( I wish the whole place was clothing optional ) there are 2 rooms in the nude area but they usually fill up fast so get there early if you would like a full nudist experience here overnight . I usually go went it gets colder outside here in arizona. i mainly go to shangri la ranch in the summer and el dorado hot springs in the winter because its to…

  Pros: Desert Pete is a Communal NUDE ONLY area, Great for first time nudist because everyone is naked there. Great place to sunbath and soak nude. the water is like bathing in liquid silk your skin feels great after. the water has a ph of 8.2

  Cons: Can't be naked outside of the Desert Pete area. It needs a clothing optional camping area.

  I`ve been going there off and on for many years. Lovely mineral water, friendly people to soak with, friendly staff, rustic but clean facilities. I like the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. Best deal is overnight camping, which is the same price as a day soak.

  Pros: charming, nice camp sites with fire pits, great clawfoot tubs to soak in as well as larger tanks.

  Cons: can`t be nude in camping areas. Chicken farm nearby, sometimes you get a whiff, usually not bad though. Prices higher than Faywood.

  RUSTIC is the main theme here. This place needs many updates which are unlikely to happen as it may be sold and closed within the next couple of years. ( I won’t go into detail). There is only one area that is designated as a “nude area” for public soaking. Other private pools can be rented by the hour for the shy people. ;-) . From my experience, the private tub reservations fill up in the evening. I’ve camped at this location several times in the spring and fall (summer is too hot and winter is too cold – for me).   I like this place. Even though nudity is confined now, the enclosures are, for the most part, nice. It`s a great chance to soak in the sun. My only trouble on the last visit was that the water in the bathroom was cut off due to repairs. Also, if you pick a private enclosure, try your best to get the Sunset. Wonderful. I haven`t done the private areas in a while, but one has a hot tub instead of the more rustic rock and troughs of the other enclosures. Same water, but ruins the experience for me. I don`t see any pictures of it on the site, so I think they may have changed it out.

  Pros: Relatively close to Phoenix if you are from there. Quiet, private.

  Cons: Nudity not okay in all areas

  I took advantag of the terriffic place. The owners are very nice people and thier patrons were nice to be around. I like this place very much.

  Pros: Being close to Tonopah Joe`s Truckstop,restraunt & lounge, and store. is a plus.

  Cons: There are no cons in my opinion. A truley nice place to be.
