Would most of us be comfortable walking into a grocery store nude if 99.9 percent of the folks around us were clothed. It would definately need to be warm outside.

In Denver, women are allowed to be topless anywhere man are allowed to be topless.
Female toplessness is already legal in New York. Do you see it in grocery stores? No. Couple of reasons: The stores themselves have rules in addition to the general law, and the women, protesters aside, would just generally rather shop than create a scene.
Thus, if a store requires men to wear a shirt, then women could not be topless. Private business owners have the right to establish and enforce whatever standards they so desire as long as those standards do not discriminate based on protected classes. As it stands, Walmart and Sam's do not have any policy or standard beyond the law. If you were at a Walmart in Vermont or Oregon (and were outside of the few specific cities that have enacted anti-nudity laws), then Walmart would not require you to wear clothing.

Wal-Mart already has a reputation for allowing sloppy and minimal dress.
Has anyone ever seen nude or topless female customers in Wal-Mart in locations where it is legal?

Are you planning to shop nude in stores that have no policy against it?

    Yes.
I believe that you are planning on moving to Oregon. Are you planning to shop nude in stores that have no policy against it?
If I can manage, the plan is to live nude -- including shopping, getting a driver's license, buying stamps at the post office, dinning out, going to the doctor, etc.

    nudeyooper wrote: Super Nudist
The laughable part of this is that the bikini that consists of three small triangles of cloth held together by some string can be legal where nude is not. So the next question is where tops are not required, as on beaches and in parks, why are we still seeing three small triangles of cloth?
Because people have different standards about what they choose to wear, and some women choose to conceal their nipple area. I know a woman who had breast cancer and, while they gave her a prosthetic breast, she chose not to do a nipple reconstruction. I imagine she might have qualms about exposing her entire breast. That said, it may just be a fashion statement. Sometimes one can make a body part more erotic by hiding it. Since we nudists don't strip for purposes of arousing people, it's not an issue for us. But we're not like everybody else.

Do you have a time frame for your move?
Spring/summer of 2022. Do you have a time frame for your move?
That will give you several months of warm weather for more or less continuous nudity before you have to wear clothing because of the temperature.

I know in NY toplessness is legal in most public places. but very few women are.

(At least in terms of laps of the sun... :-D ) Was the vibe unkempt, provocative, or don't care? I imagine for that age, all possibilities may be in play.

The most daring I can recall seeing is a woman in a small thong bikini (with top on) in a take-away shop close to a surburban beach. Not illegal in Victoria as I understand it, but notable for it not being common. No one seemed to mind.

I don't think I would in a grocery store, they have their own rules and health codes to worry about. If it was common place so many people could enjoy it, yes I would join in at a park or anywhere it is fitting to do so.

I have been asked by Walmart staff to wear a shirt (next time, they didn't kick me out). The floorwalker said they "prefer" it.

    I'm a barefooter -- so I'm barefoot even when I'm not nude.
Grocery stores are kept colder due to fresh meats, dairy, frozen foods, and fresh fruits and vegetables. In addition, it is not unusual for glass containers to break and difficult to get all of the glass up. I think I would want to wear something in the cold place and definitely shoes.
This includes grocery stores. I hear the "glass all over the floor" thing all the time. Although I'm sure it must happen at some point, I've only once seen glass on the floor of a grocery store. The jar and contents were still there -- hadn't been cleaned up yet. I'm VERY temperature tolerant. I'm almost always the last person to comment on how hot or cold it is -- I've never noticed that grocery stores are cooler than other stores. They may well be; I've just never noticed.

Official Walmart policy says no such thing. There is no preference beyond upholding the law.
I have been asked by Walmart staff to wear a shirt (next time, they didn't kick me out). The floorwalker said they "prefer" it.
If it's legal to be shirtless, Walmart officially doesn't care. I've been told to leave 2 convenience store and home depot. Wouldn't even let me buy what I already had when I got to the checkout counter. On a more positive note, several other convenience stores and a produce stand were OK with me shopping shirtless.

I said "Excuse me mam I am not sure how to say this, and I am not complaining. But I think maybe you are showing a little more than you intended to". Then I moved my hand over my right tit. She looked down at herself, then looked up at me with "The evil eye" and tugged the blouse over the nipple and stormed off without saying a word. Others in Walmart had to have noticed because her areola was about 2.5" diameter and darker brown. Kind of like a beacon against the milky white skin ;-)

The cashier in one convenience store could have just as well been topless. She had a button up shirt, with a button above and one below the breast, the overlap of the shirt was wide open (no bra) with a perfect view of the whole A cupped cutie ;-) The cash register was positioned so that the cashier was sideways to the customers.

He did have to wear something for some government interactions and meeting people at the airport. For these occasions, he wore a kilt. The last time he posted, he hadn't worn pants or shorts in over two years and had gotten rid of all but one of each.

Could be that they're thinking about repercussions.
I've been told to leave 2 convenience store and home depot. It is interesting thatfemalenipples and areola are considered sexual.
because her areola was about 2.5" diameter and darker brown. Kind of like a beacon against the milky white skin ;-)
Butmalenipples and areola and not. I believe that's the motivation behind the push to legalize female toplessness.

I'd like to have clothing just for severe weather and other hazardous conditions.
The last time he posted, he hadn't worn pants or shorts in over two years and had gotten rid of all but one of each.
And, otherwise, just be nude.
