RE:Would you send/accept a friend request to someone from work?

I would assume that the coworker was on the same site so would be of the same persuasion. I would have no problem sending or accepting a friend request. However, if it was someone I didn't care for I would probably ignore a request, and I certainly wouldn't send one. If we are not friendly at work why would being on the same nudist site change that any more than riding on the same train or bus?

Of course, if they were on here I would love to socialize with them.

Sometimes having something in common can help a friendship to develop.

Yes. I already know a couple of coworkers that are nudists or at least go to the nearby nude beach. Im not ashamed to be a nudist, especially if I know someone is potentially a kindred spirit.

What a great question!

There are clear cases for and against. Generally I don't cross over my personal social media with work social media (eg Linkedin), and seldom do I socialise with work place colleagues. I have just found life easier that way.

The issue here though is that they found you in the nudie world/community, which means that strictly speaking they too are a nudie, and this opens up opportunity for social nudity and that can often be extremely hard to find.

So you really need to first approach them 'off air' and not through here, and sound out whether they are genuine. Heaven knows there have been many casual nudies and try before you buy nudies during the pandemic who have now returned to clothed textile life.

RE:Would you send/accept a friend request to someone from work?

Been retired over a dozen years now. While I was in the Navy most everyone onboard ship knew I was a nudist. After I got out and became a firefighter, all of those that I worked with knew. By the time I retired, I worked with some for the first time, but they knew of me and my comfort with nudity in the firehouse.

I worked closely with 3 other guys that never mentioned their nudism to me. It wasn't until they too retired and I ran into them at our local nude beach and a local resort. We socialize some at the resort and beach but not on a regular basis otherwise. We did attend breakfasts and lunches with a large group of retired guys but never alone or with the wives.

If they were here, I'd connect with them for sure.

If I socialise with them outside of work, why not?

We draw a strict line between public and private life in our office. I don't FB much at all and block my employees even from that. Absolutely there are varying circumstances where commingling private and public life is doable and then there are some that it would not bode well.

When "someone from work" is in a power-differentiated role, then no. Not boss/employee, or teacher/student. Rockdad's right to block employees. My sister, the schoolteacher, won't FB at all, because her students want to friend her.

Might be high risk but depending on who is probably. They have already seen you on the site so gonna talk to you about it anyhow. And could make a new friend (or even more if have same ideas and want to pursue it.)
