melanin helps efficiently/effectively translate to sun rays into useful body energy: Vitamin D.

And that Vitamin D is good for boosting our immune system. Hopefully it will warm up here in the UK so I can catch some more sun in my back garden.

I love yo be nude in the sun but I'll have to wait a couple of months before it's warm enough here.

I love the sun warming my naked body... I have a private backyard so I'm out there as much as possible

I just began tanning and enjoying the sun on my nude body about 2 years ago. Now it is a daily ritual. Sometimes for hours, or even a few minutes. Of course weather permitting! I just love the feeling and the nice rich brown results.

We are nearly always nude in our backyard and pool. Like many, the breeze and warm sun are a slice of heaven. A cold beer or a frozen Margarita is the cherry on top.

My nude time has been limited this summer because our grandson is here and his dad is afraid to send him to day camp. I have been outside a lot in just shorts. In fact I saw Bengali friend recently and he humorously commented that he doesn't often see someone of European descent whose arms and face are darker than his. I didn't tell him that I was equally dark to the waist and the line there is less distinct than he would expect.

I enjoy being naked in the sun so much that I could even consider myself solarsexual. But I try to limit my time of direct exposure. Being melanin deprived, I noticed how my mom and sister, who were always working on their tans, ended up aging like lizards. While I envy with more sun-suited pigmentation, I remain content to settle for anything darker than mozarella cheese with no melt lines.

That is the down side to this. It is one reason I decided not to sunbathe if I am in a sunny climate -- although I bend that a little at the end of the chilly season. I don't need to lie out; just going about my outdoor activities is enough, and I wear a hat if I am going to be out a long time.

We saw some sun here last Saturday and it was warmish although we are still in winter so I was able to get my shirt off, think I needed some vitamin D. I worked in my yard and was even a little burned on my face that evening so a hat will be fixed to my head for the coming summer. That little bit of sun was very nice after having none for 3-4 months.
