RE: Erections really can effect some people and cultures?

Due to my Asian girls sheltered cultural upbringing, seeing a picture of a man in person without an erection was enough to cause her to dry reach.
That was bad enough, however a fully erect one would send her into chuckle overdrive.
Luckily I have helped her grow out of her phobia and start to enjoy her new natural lifestyle.
Supposedly her conditioning stems from old Vietnamese culture that expected that any unmarried woman who saw a man's junk especially when it was aroused was deemed as a need to commit suicide. This is highlighted by the folk story of two stately ladies that committed suicide during the early years of Vietnamese history.

RE: Erections?

After reading all the posts in this thread it occurs to me that many of the women here are very spiteful and intolerant. You can't blame a man for what is a normal, natural reaction, if he does something inappropriate with it, that's one thing, but to denigrate all men based on what others have done or that you are afraid they might do is wrong. I found both the wording and the tone of the overall thread to be condescending and mean-spirited and as a man I found it offensive. Do you have so little experience or contact with men that you are unaware that not all men are like that? Those are some pretty broad strokes you are using and it seems that you have this idea that anyone with a penis is a perverted sex offender waiting to happen...which is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard & I sincerely hope you don't really believe that.
Also, to jump all over someone and belittle and insult him for sharing an anecdote from an experience he had simply because it doesn't follow your "groupthink" mob mentality shows a tragically stunning display of your inability to allow any other viewpoints to be expressed that might challenge your skewed view of reality and also shows you to be both closed minded and judgmental. Neither of which are positive traits.
You ask people for their input, then shred them in the forum when they give it. Here's something you may not have considered: maybe not every man that gets an erection is a perverted deviant. Sometimes it might be caused by ADRENALINE. We sometimes get hard when we get into physical confrontations..it doesn't mean we want to have sex.
Erections happen, act like an adult and deal with it already.

RE: Erections?

Natural or not it is how you deal with the situation. Post 88 is most cogent.

RE: Erections?

this question has come up on other site i belong to and most woman think it not a big deal if a man get a erection it more of a complement to them and it how he handles thing after he has one that most woman think aboutI know few, if any women, who think it no big deal. It's not appropriate in a genuine nudist setting. I've met nudists all over the world, visited more than 50 nudist venues and witnessed it only twice including once when the offending visitor and it's offending member were escorted off grounds.
Wow. I totally respect your commitment to Naturism but I'm very surprised and disappointed with this response. In the materials directed at newbies (like me) it says not to worry, erections are normal; just cover if you can or otherwise change locations but no one will be offended. Its the guys here that seem to have a normal and mature approach to the situation (I have not read all posts). So now, as I anticipate my first public/social nude experiences I should no longer feel comfortable that if that should happen I will not be ridiculed or deemed a pervert? Not getting an erection when confronted with a nude and very attractive women seems will take some practice assuming I'm still a healthy male human. I was beginning to not worry about it as I consider myself a mature respectful male. In fact, I tend to be more paternal/protective than lecherous. So now, Should I just stick with home/private nudity?

RE: Erections?

The golden rule is that you should only look at the ladies face and not the rest of her body and she should only do the same to you so if you have an erection by just looking at her face she and nobody should see it unless they are not following the golden rule.

RE: Erections?

ErectionsThis is my thoughts on photographs of erection. Yes, theyare a part of being a man and they are handy when you actually need one, but itis not every time I see your profile. But when I see them on a profile I findthem rude, they are unnecessary. Is this what men think we are looking for? Is this really what men think will impress us? Is this thebest thing they have to say about themselves? These men are so short sighted;they dont know what will impress a woman. Be interesting; use your intelligence, humor, and brains to getto us women. Any women, that agrees with this statement please comment, maybe the men will understand.PrincessJaiI totally agree PrincessJai, why try to get attention that way is beyond me!
